Torah 4 Gentiles Sukkot in Jerusalem History and Prophecy Hebrew Lessons The Noahide Oath
The Path of the
Righteous Gentile

I was not a big fan of the Bnei Noach
movement.  I, believing that I was a member
of the Northern Kingdom, thought being a
Bnei Noach was what Gentiles were.  And I was NOT a Gentile.

It is so hard to agree upon terminology, because the meaning of words change and are used differently over the course of time.

In reality, all of those from the Northern Kingdom are LOST.  They have BECOME Gentiles.  In Hosea, the prophet says that they are now NOT a people. So to come from being lost among the Gentiles to be recognized as a righteous Gentile, is a HUGE step.

In his book, "Israel and Humanity", Rabbi Elijah Benamozegh writes:

Noachidism forms the first step of the
ladder which the Israelite must climb
     before  attaining the Mosaic Law.

So there is a necessity, for those who will form the northern kingdom, to first be established as Noachides.

This is NOT a backward step, but a step that leads the House of Israel back under the umbrella of the people of the God of Israel.

The additional step of taking on the entire yoke of the law and to be willing to submit to the authority of the House of Judah, brings the Hose of Israel through a necessary process of humility and submission before God.

A process that starts with the seven Noachide Laws.
